Calling all music lovers and festival goers! Get ready to mosh, sing along, and experience Riot Fest like never before. After a dramatic move from its longtime home in Chicago’s Douglass Park, Riot Fest has unveiled its highly-anticipated lineup for 2024, along with a brand new location: RiotLand at SeatGeek Stadium in Bridgeview, Illinois.

Slayer, Fall Out Boy, and Beck Take the Stage as Headliners

This year’s Riot Fest promises an epic three-day celebration from September 20th to the 22nd. Music fans can expect electrifying performances from legendary thrash metal band Slayer, returning for a special reunion show, alongside pop-punk favorites Fall Out Boy and genre-bending artist Beck.

A Star-Studded Lineup Packed with Punk, Metal, and More

But the headliners are just the tip of the iceberg. Riot Fest 2024 boasts a diverse lineup featuring iconic acts like Rob Zombie, The Offspring, Pavement, St. Vincent, Public Enemy, and many more.

Fans of punk rock can rejoice with sets from New Found Glory and Suicidal Tendencies, while metalheads will get their fix with Lamb of God and Mastodon. Genre-defying rockers GWAR will also be bringing their theatrical and outrageous performance to RiotLand

NOFX Says Farewell with Three-Day Performance

For fans of punk legends NOFX, Riot Fest 2024 holds a special significance. The band will be gracing the stage all three days as part of their farewell tour, making this a must-see event for any devoted follower.

RiotLand: A Fresh Festival Experience Awaits

The move to a new location signifies more than just a change of scenery. RiotLand promises a complete festival experience unlike anything Riot Fest attendees have seen before. Here are some of the exciting perks you can expect:

On-site Parking: Say goodbye to the hassle of finding off-site parking. RiotLand offers convenient on-site parking for festival goers.

Real Bathrooms (Hallelujah!): A significant upgrade from the usual festival fare, RiotLand boasts proper restroom facilities with indoor plumbing. This is sure to be a welcome change for anyone who’s ever braved the portable toilets at a multi-day festival.

New Layout and Surprises: While details are still under wraps, Riot Fest has hinted at a fresh layout for RiotLand, promising a unique and immersive festival experience.

A Message from Founder, Riot Mike

In a heartfelt statement, co-founder Mike Petryshyn, or “Riot Mike,” shared the reasons behind the move from Douglass Park to SeatGeek Stadium. He expressed frustration with the Chicago Park District and their handling of the festival, which led to the decision to relocate.

Mike assured fans that the new location, RiotLand, promises an all-new layout and experience while maintaining the core essence of Riot Fest.

“Several weeks ago, I had enough. I was tired of Riot Fest continually being the lowest hanging fruit. I was tired of playing their games. I was tired of watching something I love being continually used to deflect away from their own internal deficits. This prevented us from giving you the experience you deserve.

So, it became evident change was needed. Riot Fest will be leaving Douglass Park. And—allow me to be as clear as the azure sky of the deepest summer—our exodus is solely because of the Chicago Park District. Their lack of care for the community, you, and us, ultimately left us no choice.”
