Jimmy Eat World’s 2026 Bleed American 25th anniversary tour hits Asbury Park this summer, with a June 25 stop at the Stone Pony Summer Stage. The date lands in the middle of a packed East Coast run celebrating the band’s landmark 2001 album.

Jimmy Eat World’s 2026 Bleed American 25th anniversary tour continues to take shape as one of the year’s most expansive alternative rock runs, with fans in NJ getting a chance to see them among the sand and surf of Asbury Park on June 25, 2026.
Earlier this year, Jimmy Eat World announced the massive international tour celebrating their landmark 2001 album Bleed American, launching June 9 at Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Denver, Colorado, and wrapping in November at Vans Warped Tour in Orlando, FL. The extensive run also marks the band’s return to the Warped Tour stage across multiple cities after a 25-year absence, alongside a handful of previously announced U.K. dates highlighted by performances in Halifax, Cardiff, and London.
At the center of the tour is a renewed focus on Bleed American, an album that helped define early-2000s alternative rock and push Jimmy Eat World into mainstream success. The record has gone platinum in the U.S. and gold in the U.K., with “The Middle” recently joining the Spotify Billion Streams Club, and its influence continues to stretch across generations of alternative, emo, and pop-rock artists.
For New Jersey fans, the June 25 stop at the Stone Pony Summer Stage stands out as one of the key Northeast shows of the summer. The Asbury Park date lands in the middle of a dense East Coast run that includes Brooklyn, New York City, Philadelphia, Boston, Bridgeport, and Nantucket, making it one of the most tightly packed regional stretches of the entire tour. The Stone Pony Summer Stage, a longtime summer hub for major alternative acts, adds another marquee name to its 2026 lineup with support from The Wonder Years and Girls Against Boys.
The East Coast routing begins June 16 at Brooklyn Paramount, followed by Pier 17 in New York City, Philadelphia’s Skyline Stage at the Mann, Boston’s MGM Music Hall at Fenway, Nantucket, and Bridgeport, before arriving in Asbury Park on June 25.
Across the tour, the band has emphasized a refreshed perspective on the album and its legacy. Drummer Zach Lind has described the run as a chance to reconnect with longtime fans, while frontman Jim Adkins said, “I feel like at this time in our lives, especially for me, it’s important to get back to a place that you can savor. This tour is designed to be an elevated version of our show, a heightened experience with production that reflects 25 years of learning how to stretch artistically in the live environment.”
Adkins added that fans can expect a full-album performance of Bleed American, along with deeper cuts and selections spanning the band’s catalog.
The tour continues across Canada, with festival appearances in Halifax and Toronto, and additional U.S. dates through the summer and fall, including Warped Tour stops in Washington D.C., Long Beach, Montréal, Mexico City, and Orlando, as well as festival appearances at Louder Than Life and Shaky Knees.
By the time Jimmy Eat World reaches Asbury Park, they will have already moved through some of the most in-demand Northeast markets of the run, positioning the Stone Pony Summer Stage show as both a regional highlight and one of the defining Jersey Shore concerts of summer 2026.

About Jimmy Eat World
Jimmy Eat World — one of the most successful and enduring alternative-rock bands of their generation — celebrate a landmark moment in 2026: the 25th anniversary of their seminal album Bleed American. The record not only launched the Mesa, Arizona, quartet into global recognition but helped define the sound of 2000s alternative rock and the wave of emotionally driven, melodic guitar music that followed.
Originally released July 24, 2001 via DreamWorks Records, Bleed American showcased the band at a creative peak. The record produced a run of enduring hits: the explosive title track “Bleed American,” the “sing it back” stadium-bright “Sweetness,” the celebratory fan favorite “A Praise Chorus,” and the crossover smash “The Middle.” That last one hit No. 1 on Billboard’s Alternative Airplay chart, reached No. 5 on the Hot 100 during a 33-week run, earned RIAA platinum status, and in 2024 joined Spotify’s Billions Club — which may have received a slight bump after Taylor Swift lip-synced the song in a commercial for Apple Music. In 2025, “The Middle” was named one of Rolling Stone’s 250 Greatest Songs of the 21st Century So Far.
As Bleed American turns 25, its legacy can be felt in a new generation of artists—from pop-rock and mainstream alternative acts to the 2010s emo-revival scene. Bands such as Paramore, The Wonder Years, The Maine, Hot Mulligan, and countless others have cited Jimmy Eat World’s melodic clarity, emotional honesty, and guitar-driven precision as foundational to their own work. Its reach also extends to major pop and indie artists who have referenced the album’s songwriting approach and sonic balance as a blueprint for mixing intimacy with widescreen hooks.
Beyond the studio, Jimmy Eat World have become mainstays at major festivals around the world, including When We Were Young, Lollapalooza, Coachella, Reading, Leeds, Southside, and Hurricane, and have appeared on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert, Jimmy Kimmel Live!, and Saturday Night Live. Their contributions to Arizona’s music legacy were recognized in 2024 as October 17 was declared Jimmy Eat World Day in Phoenix, AZ.
The band’s most recent release, the six-song Something(s) Loud EP (2025), continued their run of heartfelt, meticulously crafted songwriting — further proof that even as they celebrate Bleed American’s 25-year legacy, Jimmy Eat World are still evolving, still resonating, and still very much in the present.
