Today’s song is “Sun Keeps On Shining” by almost monday. The Brooklyn by way of San Diego group has been making waves with their upbeat and sun kissed pop rock.

The trio made up of friends Dawson Daugherty (vocals), Cole Clisby (guitar), and Luke Fabry (bass) was officially formed during college and take inspiration from a variety of artists including David Bowie, Prince, Justice, and Gorillaz.

“Sun Keeps On Shining” is the follow-up to their previous single “Sunburn” which has already generated nearly 3 million total streams since its April release. The track marks a major milestone for the band as they’ve reached over 100 million total streams to date. “sunburn” was featured on Spotify’s young & free, Weekends + Friends, soda, Indie Arrivals, Indie Highlights, and Lemonade playlists, the latter of which also featured them on the cover

The combination of their infectious tunes and intriguing vocals has helped them attract a fan base and garnered more than 100 million overall streams since forming in 2020.
