Today’s song is “Watching the End Begin, Part 1 (Coffee Song)” By BARISTA. BARISTA is the moniker of Bahadır Han Eryılmaz, an Istanbul musician.

Bahadır is someone who makes music to the fullest. When making music he does so with a purpose and emotion. His tunes are heavily inspired by the stories of his own life and those around him. His influences range from Toto and Journey to Supertramp, The Alan Parsons Project, as well an array of Turkish folk traditions including Sufism.

His goal is to bring the vibe back to music. He wants to make it raw, liberating, and authentic. His music straddles many genres invoking the likes of classic rock, heavy progressive, mystic alternative, bold world music, and some heavy psychedelia. This mashing of musical styles has worked out great.

What has resulted is a heavy sound that is reminiscent of 90’s rock. This song is off his new album Open Sesame out now.
