Today’s song is “Hope of the Sands” by rOZZ. rOZZ is the moniker for Belgium-based singer, songwriter Julie Wolfie.

Dubbed the female Leonard Cohen, her music has been said to have a unique sound evoking echoes of the past while still sounding fresh and new.

This is the title track off her upcoming LP. It is an intriguing track with fast guitars paired with sultry vocals. Her songwriting paints a melancholy upbeat feel that leaves you with a delightful sense of longing, and mystery.
