Today’s song is “Han Sow” by Lozk. Lozk is the audiovisual project by Leonardo Suárez Jiménez. This musician, producer, and multimedia artist hails from Bogotá, Colombia and has studied classical music for four years. He also has an Masters of Art in Audio Production from the University of Westminster in the United Kingdom.

Lozk uses samples to authenticate his compositions. He records daily quotation objects, sounds from the street, animals, and musical instruments. He then processes them to make and elaborate unique textures and sounds creating unique and alluring musical stylings. His music can be compared to

Lozk has experimented within different art fields, such as photography and experimental videos. His first album Irrational won the John Leckie Award for Innovation in Music Production 2012 (London).

This song is off the artist’s upcoming album Meaningless Words which is due out this October. Like the name of his album, his lyrics has no meaning at wall. They are only random syllables. The music alone speaks to the listener. It is a collage of different genres melding electronica, experimental, and post-industrial, along with his own musical sampling to create unique sound that captivates the listener.
