I was just thinking the other day about how whenever we wanted to go to see a concert we would have to get up really early on a Saturday and go to the local Compact Disc World to get concert tickets. You would have to get there early and if you were lucky you could be the first person in line when the store opened. You would then proceed to get a bracelet for the lottery where hopefully you would get general admission floor seats. After getting the bracelets we would be let in one at at time to see what the machine would pull up.
Although looking back it seems to be an archaic processs of getting tickects, I feel a little nostalgic for the old method of going to the store and getting the tickets. Don’t get me wrong, I’m really fond of the internet and the ability to buy tickets with a click of the mouse. The only thing that i think doesn’t give everyone a fair advantage when there are a lot of scalpers who get all the good seats before anyone else.
