Today’s song is “Unsure” by The Chris Ruben Band. Hailing from New York the group consist of Chris Ruben (guitar/vocals), Nick Marino (guitar), Brendan Allen (bass), Russ Benjamin (drums), Frank Iovine (keys/saxophone), and Eugene Iovine (keys).
This sextet has an intriguing sound that features a mashup of almost every genre you can think of. They combine blues, classic psychedelia with a dose of indie and alternative rock for head-bobbing, hip-moving, melodies. Their guitar riffs to me they sound like 311 meets Jimi Hendrix.
