Today’s song is “I Got A Fever” by Perry Serpa. Hailing from Queens, New York, Serpa is a singer/songwriter/musican arranger known as the leader of the acclaimed symphonic pop band The Sharp Things.
Like many musicians, Perry has been using music as an outlet for all the sadness and frustrations he has been feeling over the past year. This track is off his album Laying Low in the Highlands out May 7th via Declared Goods/The Orchard.
The combination of piano melodies and swirling electronica make this a fun musical experience with infectious hooks that will have you singing along. Unlike a fever, you won’t want to shake this song.
