Today’s song is “Good While It Lasted” by Aura Blaze. Hailing from Lebanon Township, New Jersey, this Garden State outfit is the creation of Rhode Rachel.
Rachel is a talented multi-instrumentalist who writes and produces whimsical and delightful psychedelic rock. His tunes are reminiscent of the ’60s and ’70s music with influences from The Doors, Beatles, The Grateful Dead, and Pink Floyd.
This track is off their album entitled The Sparkling Black which came out June 21st. The album was released intentionally on the summer solstice and a nod to the “sun and moon” theme which is heard in the opening and closing tracks.
“Good While It Lasted” is sunny, inspiring and delightful track. It makes you feel like you’re floating on a cloud and will put a smile on your face. This track should be in your summer rotation.
