Today’s song is “Stay” by Ships Have Sailed. The Los Angeles duo consists of Will Carpenter (vocals, guitar, production, composition) and Art Andranikyan (drums).
After moving to Los Angeles, Carpenter got the idea for a new musical project consisting of invigorating uplifting buoyant music. From there Ships Have Sailed was born.
Deemed as “sincere indie rock with an unabashed pop structure” Ships Have Sailed has a jubilant and invigorating sound that invites the listener with it’s opening chords.
