The Lonely Biscuits “Never Said” (Liz Phair Cover) Video

The Lonely Biscuits released a new video for their cover of Liz Phair’s “Never Said.”

The video was shot in Asbury Park earlier this month, while the Nashville-based indie-pop trio was in town to perform at The Saint. Frontman Grady Weinwrich is from Point Pleasant, and grew up playing in the Asbury Park music scene.

The Lonely Biscuits have a a deep love of the 90’s music they grew up on, which is reflected in their songwriting and their latest record the The San Francisco EP.

The The band formed in 2011 when they were dorm mates at Nashville’s Belmont University. They’ve gone on to perform at festivals like Bonnaroo, Lollapalooza, Hangout Fest, Austin City Limits and South by Southwest, and have been praised by outlets like Paste, Vice, and The Hollywood Reporter.

They have been making waves online with their single “Talk About” garnering over 400,000 streams on Spotify. The band will play their first show at Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium on September 9.
