Song of the Day: “The Bird and the Worm” by The Used

Today’s song is “The Bird and the Worm” by The Used. The emo band you loved is back to celebrate 15 years of making music. In honor of this crystal anniversary the band will be launching a tour kicking off in April.

The tour will feature their certified-gold debut album The Used (2002) and In Love And Death (2004) for two nights on each stop.
Several dates have already sold out showing the dedication of their ever strong fanbase

Prior to hitting the road, The Used will release Live and Acoustic at The Palace, an album/DVD recorded at the band’s intimate unplugged storyteller performance at The Palace Theater in Los Angeles last October. With help from a four-piece string quartet and harpist (arranged by Hiro Goto) as well as a piano player, percussion, and three-piece gospel choir, The Used are inviting their fans to see them on a level unseen before.

This video is a taste of what fans can expect on the new album.

The Used is Bert McCracken (vocals), Jeph Howard (bass), Dan Whitesides (drums), and Justin Shekoski (guitar).
