Titus Andronicus displays the real New Jersey through their eyes in the video for “No Future Part 3: Escape From No Future” off the 2010 album The Monitor.
New Jersey is not what you see on The Sopranos, The Jersey Shore, or The Real Housewives of NJ. The video kicks off with lead singer Patrick Stickles stating “You think you know New Jersey, you don’t know anything about New Jersey”. The tour begins in the Pine Barrens, then heads to the Asbury Park Boardwalk, a front yard of a home in Little Egg Harbor, a basement in New Brunswick, and a rooftop in Jersey City.
