Today’s song is “Hey Lady” by Diamond Doves. The guys in DD have an interesting background in the indie rock community, having played as the horns section for bands like My Morning Jacket, Bon Iver, Dr. Dog, Clap Your Hands Say Yeah, and Okkervil River among others. They’re also members of Elvis Perkins in Dearland. Their sound draws from a myriad of influences ranging from Os Mutantes and The Band to contemporaries like Animal Collective.
