Red Wanting Blue at Mercury Lounge

I was at one of my favorite live music venues in New York City last Tuesday for a transforming experience with Red Wanting Blue. After an initial listen of their album These Magnificent Miles, I instantly joined the fan club. Last week’s performance was none less than what I expected. They were energetic and delivered just what the fans wanted – feet-stomping music that makes you want to jump on stage and rock out with the crew. As the American flag hung proudly as the backdrop (fittingly so), good times was had by all.
