Lead singer Lou Montesano, Lead Guitarist Chris Marino, Bass player Russell Tolas and Drummer Mike Montalto, collectively known as STATUS GREEN, lend their unique and groundbreaking sound as the foundation for the soundtrack. As an added bonus the band will also make a cameo appearance in the feature film, “Exit 102 Asbury Park“.
With a constantly evolving sound, the independent group has had industry tastemakers and executives already labeling them the ‘the breakout band of the year’. The groups management duo, Michael Keenan and Ginger Salahieh are actively entertaining opportunities with various record labels seeking the right match for the group. STATUS GREEN will ultimately select the label that is the best fit for them. Lou and Chris state that, “We are looking for a label to be partners with us for the next 30 years! We are a very loyal group of guys who through a lot of ups and downs have stuck together where other bands have failed.”
Opening for supergroups such as Blink 182, Fall Out Boy, Creed, Nickelback, State Radio, Ted Leo and the Pharmacists, Weezer, Bon Jovi and BADFISH, STATUS GREEN has not only made its way through barriers of the entertainment industry but have triumphantly and steadily proceeded to tackle the majors as well. We owe it to the fans to give them the best live experience of their life!” The band just released their 3rd album “Cheap Sunglasses” featuring the hit song “Room to Play!” A Fall tour presented by AT&T, Coca Cola, and 1800 Tequila as potential sponsors is currently in the works for the upcoming year.
