Findlay Brown and His Guitar

I had the honor of photographing a private music showcase at Headroom Digital last week, starring the handsomely charming Findlay Brown.

Hailed from Yorkshire, and now a Brooklynite, Findlay’s latest album Love Will Find You, certainly found me speechless. does not at all do him justice when categorizing him under “Pop.” His music is far beyond just the fluff. Heavily influenced with a late 50s/60s theme, this sophomore release is nothing short of romance. Every song is like a bite of your favorite dessert, and more.

Findlay graced us with only a few songs from the album throughout the evening, solo and acoustic. The dimly-lit studio stage at Headroom, with the Empire State Building as the backdrop, set the perfect mood for the performance. Everyone in attendance was mesmerized by his sultry voice.
