Today’s SOTD is “Midnight Romeo” by Push Play. The 19-year-old pop rockers recently signed to Wind-up Records have a sound that you just can’t get enough. While they admittedly have screaming fans ala The Jonas Brothers, don’t write Push Play off as a teen band. Influenced by Muse and The Killers, their songwriting skews a little older, which you can hear in the fun, sexy lyrics. The band has some exciting melodies that rock.
This song is off their debut album Found. The album was produced by Matt Squire (Boys Like Girls, Panic at The Disco) with additional production by Curt Schneider (Five For Fighting) & Valentin Fuhrer (Lucas Prada).
