Lights Resolve is a New York based band composed of three high school friends; Matt Reich, Neal Saini, and Luke Daniels. Since forming in 2006, the alternative-rock trio has toured throughout the US and has made a name for themselves with both fans and industry execs alike. While being an unsigned band, they have had the opportunity to play with multi-platinum recording artists such as the Used, and Shiny Toy Guns. After winning MTV2 and Time Warner’s Rock Battle NYC contest they were able to open for Dashboard Confessional and Panic at the Disco at the The Prudential Center in Newark, NJ during their fall tour.
This trio has a clearly unique sound. Their music is reminiscent of classic rock with a twinge of punk through their heavy drumming, fast guitar riffs and bass rhythms. Throwing in their synth pop melodies, they have created music that is not only really catchy and fun, but also very different from other bands. This is evident in songs like “This Could Be the Last Time” and “The Hills and Michael Jackson.”
This band is really awesome. Check out their self-released EPs Prelude and Currency on
