I Love All Access Kinda Sucks; At Least at the Borgota in Atlantic City

Being the crazed New Kids on the Block fan that I am, I jumped at the chance to do a meet & greet when my sister asked me if I wanted to upgrade our regular general admission tickets to a 5 star VIP package. We were all excited about getting the chance to be face to face with our favorite New Kid, but going through the process at the Borgota in Atlantic City was a real pain in the a**. I don’t know if it was I Love All Access’ fault or the Borgota’s but the whole process was very unorganized. The whole program didn’t start on time and we were waiting forever in line just to get registered. The “gift bag” we received consisted of some very random stuff. Whose idea was it to throw in a mug without a box? I accidentally cracked it when I had put it down on the marble floor in the bathroom.

The actual meet and greet was amazing, but they were very militant in their rules. Not being able to have anything signed or be able to take pictures with your own cameras kind of sucked. Previous to that if you had a large camera you had to check it in a box. I totally didn’t want to do that so I just stuck it down my shirt. As you went into the room you had to hand over all bags to the I Love All Access people and it was kind of daunting that they were being such sticklers.

The other thing that sucked was that they made you take a picture with 5 other people. So you will have a picture with random strangers unless you all planned with a large group and knew everyone in the picture. This would not have been a problem if there weren’t people who hogged the artist for two sets of photos; which actually. It would have made more sense to have us line up and take a picture with the whole group one by one like they did at the US Weekly luncheon.

The pictures weren’t even printed out. You had to wait for them to be posted on the I Love All Access website. So annoying. It would have made more sense if they had someone there who printed out the photos and gave them to you as you left.  They should have zoomed in a little because I can barely see myself. Check out the photo below. 3_IMG_0682

I don’t know what this experience is like with other bands, but this kind of sucked. I must admit though that if they have a summer tour and offer a meet and greet package, I will probably do it. Like I said before, I’m a crazed fan lol.

  1. Thanks for posting this, it’s just what I was googling. This is why I like blogs, you get a personal opinion from someone rather than a corporation trying to sell you on something, or an idea. I’ll be reading your blog more often!

Thanks for posting this! I’m deciding whether or not to do 5 star VIP with NKOTB.

How long did you get to talk to the guys for, and were your seats any good?

I agree, the photo would have been better if it was zoomed in a bit. It’s still a great picture though!!

  5. you get to talk to them for a few minutes but you have 9 other women who want do the same thing. The time kind of goes by in a haze, but it’s fun. The Borgata had general admission so we had really good seats. We were in the front row for the whole show. It was awesome!

Thanks for the info! Yeah having 9 others to compete with sounds like it would have been interesting… I’m glad it was still fun though! You had front row?? That is awesome!!
