She started writing about music events that she was invited to as a perk of working in media and from there the blogging bug had got her. Comprised of Brent Carpentier (vocals),  Mike Glita (bass/vocals), Nick Goncalves (guitar/programming), and Ross Dillon (drums); Love Automatic is the result of the merger of two local New Jersey bands.  Shortly after forming in early 2008, the quartet released their first EP Dance Floor Disaster free to listeners online.
