New York-based Americana/alt-country artist Gregory Dwane has officially released his latest work Xmas EP today. Featuring three holiday-themed songs (including a sarcastic jab at Amazon), this EP follows the June 2022 release of XX as Dwane prepares a new full-length release for 2023.
Dwane, on the release:
“Honestly, I’m not sure why I wanted to write a Christmas EP. I may have been drawn to the challenge of writing an interesting holiday song and trying to come up with an angle that no one has done before. I wrote the two originals on the Xmas EP with my father in mind … He was a pretty irreverent dude and didn’t care much for the holidays when I was growing up.”
