Today’s song is “Weather the Storm” by Kaleigh.

Just one name is all you need to remember this fierce Los Angeles, Californian triple threat. Kaleigh is an actor, model, and musician who has come of age with this new single and upcoming album. Taking a departure from her early pop roots she is now dabbling into the sounds of angsty and emotive alternative rock.

“Weather the Storm” is the first single off her debut full-length album Predestined out March 5th 2021.

She wrote this track in response to the emotions that were felt through many of us over the last year. She says,

“Weather the Storm is a song that was written to call attention to the tumultuous emotions that were felt throughout the United States during 2020 and echoed throughout the world. This is a sign to the public that as we embark on our journey through 2021, we must unite and stand together in order to reach progress. Spread love and compassion, take my hand and let’s stand together!”

This music suits her quite well. Listening to “Weather the storm” you get a vexed Alanis Morissette vibe that flows seamlessly with the first few notes. Kaleigh has a knack for making some meaningful and infectious tunes.
