With all the lack of music happening lately it’s nice to see there are still opportunities to see some new music. Even if it is only streaming.

The New York City music marathon that is known as CMJ! The once defunct music festival is now back to digitally showcase a ton of artists all over the country.

CMJ was a New York-based music festival put on by college radio and the magazine College Music Journal since 1980.

Following the 1980 festival’s inception, every year for a week in October thousands of musicians would come to New York to play all over the city to adoring fans. That is until 2015 when the festival was canceled

In 2019, Amazing Radio acquired CMJ and announced plans to revive the festival in 2020. Recent posts on Facebook showed the festival will be launching digitally the week of October 22 at 7 pm EST.

This time no badge is needed to get into the showcase. All you have to do is go to their website.
