So many great concerts this summer! Just on the heels of the Sea Hear Now lineup announcement, I got some more great news in my inbox this morning.
I nearly shrieked when I saw the email. Jimmy Eat World and The Front Bottoms are coming together for a tour this Summer. The best part is they will be playing the Stone Pony Summer Stage!
The 20 date summer run will start in Atlanta, GA on August 6th and culminate in a hometown gig in Phoenix, AZ, Labor Day Weekend, on September 5th. The Front Bottoms will join the tour as direct support with The bands will be supported by Turnover and Joyce Manor in select cities (see dates below).
There was an inkling something was coming down the pipe with The Front Bottoms. They had hinted their Instagram profile last Friday there would be an announcement Monday.
The two groups will hit the shores of Asbury Park shore on Friday, August 14th. Tickets for the tour go on sale Friday, March 13th at 10 EST. There will also be a number of pre-sales this week starting Tomorrow, March 10th.
The date will be part of the Criminal Energy Tour that kicks off on August 8th in Atlanta, Georgia and then heads up the coast and across the country ending in Pheonix, Arizona on September 5th.
