Hailing from Brazil, this husband and wife duo show their love of Twin Peaks in their latest single.
Inspired by The Cure, Cocteau Twins, xx, My Bloody Valentine, and Slowdive their latest single takes electronica and melds it with elements of everything from dream pop and gothic with a touch of shoe-gaze inspirations for a killer sound.
“Killer” has been among the 10 most popular on Hype Machine with other singles receiving praise from outlets including Vents, Born Music Online, Destroy/Exist, Obscure Sound, Grunge Cake, Tilt Mag, Your EDM
This track is off their The Black Lodge EP. Along with “Killer” the rest of the album was inspired by the TV series Twin Peaks. It is out now via Quadrado Mágico, a Brazilian label that means “magic square” in reference to Brasília, Brazil’s capital, which looks like a square in the map. It also contains remixes by artists for every song in it, including Renato Cohen, kurup, Mari Perrelli and Meduna.
