Today’s song is “Callin’ of the Cause” by Seneko. Seneko is the moniker of the New Canaan, Connecticut musician Stan Olshefski.

After starting out as a country singer back in the late 90’s Seneko soon realized his true musical passion was more in the genre of indie rock and started releasing his own music.

He has described as “country meets Radiohead” by Wail Magazine. The Huffington Post said he had “the whimsey of the Gin Blossoms.”

“Callin’ of the Cause” has a sound that takes bluesy keys, country twang, and pop melodies and meld them together into a real feel-good sound. This Americana/folksy inspired tuned will get you humming along in no time at all.

This track is off his third EP entitled Soul Numbers which is out now.
