Today’s song is “Wake Up. The Funk”by The Black City. Hailing from Torino, Italy the band is comprised of Martin Craig (guitar & vocals), Simone Bellavia (bass & vocals), and Caldero (drums, percussions, and vocals).
Before forming The Black City, the four musicians have enjoyed individual success, performing nationally and internationally as part of leading bands: Lou Bega, Tribà, Calipson, and Ossi Duri.
Since 2015 The Black City has been playing music across Italy and now are taking their music worldwide.

This Italian trio makes a fantastical funk fusion combining influences of blues, rock, Latin, and reggae. Their rocking electrical music tells a story with each note and lyric creating an awesome soundscape with their salacious vibes.
