Today’s song is “Vacation Town” by The Front Bottoms. The New Jersey based band is back with a new single from their upcoming Going Grey out next month via Fueled by Ramen.
This song came out earlier this month and was featured on New Noise.
This band is so awesome! We have been following them since 2012 when we first saw them at the now defunct Press Room in Asbury park. Their sound is so distinct and fun that it can make me happy whenever I hear their music. I am super excited for the new album and am loving these tracks!
The band is set to hit the road in support of their album with the help of bands Basement and Bad Bad Hats. It will be kicking off in Boston, Massachusetts on October 19th at the House of BluesStub Hub.
It is so great to see this band getting the exposure they deserve. 2015 saw them playing at Irving Plaza and now they will be at Terminal Five! The only said part is they may be getting to big to play Asbury venues. Hopefully they will come back and play again in the future.
