Today’s song is “End of Summer” by Maja 7th. Producer Maja7th (pronounced Major Seventh) is an Indianapolis based Hip Hop/R&B and Pop music producer and musician.
Since his introduction to music as a young child Maja has been immersed in the culture as well as the arts. Maja gained experience in music and theory throughout middle school and high school.
The producer credits his musical experience to his mother who would play artists such as Al Green, James Brown and B.B. King as well as other genre’s such as gospel, jazz and classical.Maja7th has worked with artists such as Freddie Gibbs, Killah Priest, Add-2, L.E.P Bogus Boys, GLC, Dominique Larue and more.
This track is off his up coming EP of instrumentals called Random Beats out now.
There is also a video for the single directed by Red August’s Michael Anthony, is an artistic visual set to the smooth orchestral production from Maja7th. Maja7th also pays homage to some producers that have influenced him, as well as friends who have contributed to his creative process over the years. The release also marks the launch Maja7th’s new website.
