Today’s song is “Maybe Baby” by Laurel. London-based singer/songwriter/producer is back with a new track off her highly-anticipated new EP Park, out November 18 via Counter Records.
The album was written, performed, recorded, produced and mixed by Laurel in her London bedroom-based studio, showcasing a more stripped back, folk-rock sound.
Laurel has been getting a ton of accolades from popular music outlets like Hype Machine, Nylon, Idolator, and V Magazine.
The song recently premiered on The Line of Best Fit calling it a “sludgy-pop beast full of acid-splashed guitars and Laurel’s addictive harmonies.”
Beginning November 23, Laurel will embark on her first UK headlining tour, including a sold out show in London (see dates below).
I was in love with this track as soon as I heard the first few guitar riffs. The 70’s psychedelic influence creates an instant intrigue that sends chills down the spine. Laurel’s distinct and sensual vocals pair perfectly with the music. This chick makes some awesome music!
