
Gold Clubb is named after one of the infamous Pulaski Highway stripclubs that Francis would sneak into as a teenager in his native Baltimore. Francis is a singer-songwriter who takes influences from Lou Reed, Mos Def, Lupe Fiasco and Tame Impala to create is hot indie rock infused hip-hop track with some sexy R&B to create an inviting melody ripe for the summer.
Francis teamed up with Matt Brandau, a long-standing underground producer and touring bass player who has worked with Ski Beats, Elvis Costello, Camp Lo, among others to produce Gold Clubb’s latest.
This is the latest track from their upcoming Gold Clubb: The 2-Stroke Mixtape. Due out this September, the release was mixed by Josh Valleau (Kanye West, John Legend, Snoop Dogg).
