Song of the Day: “All I Need” by The Dirty Clergy.

Today’s song is “All I Need” by The Dirty Clergy. The Dirty Clergy are a garage rock pop band hailing from Winfield, Alabama. Drawing comparisons from bands such as Alice Cooper, T. Rex and Muse, the band’s genre-blending sound has its roots firmly planted in an era when rock and roll was at the forefront of music.

Surging onto the scene in 2011, The Dirty Clergy recorded their first EP The Breakdown with The Strokes/Regina Spektor producer Gordon Raphael and released their debut full length Revival later that year. They wasted no time returning to the studio in 2012 to record their sophomore EP, Shake, and this, along with Revival, set them out on the road in the U.S.for the majority of the year.

This song is off their album Rattlesnake out now. These southern rockers stand out with their enticing vocals and hard rhythms. It is refreshing to know that rock is still alive and well.
