Today’s song is “Still Here” by The Midnight Mules. The group hails from P-Town Western Australia, and has been described by Xpress Magazine as sounding like “the illegitimate offspring of The Hives & Weezer.”
The quartet has also been compared to artists like The Strokes, Two Door Cinema Club, and Blur. To me they are a hair raising rockadelic indie rhythms melded with high energy popping punk.
Called “The Mules” by their fans, they have made a name for themselves as one of Perth’s most entertaining, high energy live acts.
This is the title track off their third release which is due out May 6, 2016. This is a follow up to their 2011 PoP CoC and 2013 debut EP, First World Problems.
