Alt poppers WALK THE MOON recently released the music video for their new single, “Work This Body.” Co-directed by Isaac Rentz and WALK THE MOON, the video focuses on a young boy conquering bullies at school while the band appears throughout dressed as superheroes. The song’s message focuses on self-empowerment and the ability to embrace who you are to overcome life obstacles.
The video premiered on Entertainment Weekly, where WALK THE MOON’s frontman Nick Petricca said, “‘Work This Body’ is a song about getting my ass in shape and standing up to my fears. The video portrays a school kid much braver than I was who starts a revolution with a lunchbox. It’s a little nudge to the skeptic that there really are superheroes among us.”
