The song, which originally comes from the band’s debut album Rescue, has been remastered and will be featured on their forthcoming EP – to be released Spring 2016. It was written by frontman Zeeshan Zaidi after a loved one was diagnosed with Lymphoma.

The video tells the story of Max & Bella, two dogs who fall in love, get married, and then learn that one of them has cancer.

“You’ll Stay Right Here” was released in conjunction with the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. Michele Przypyszny, executive director of the New York City chapter of the Leukemia & Lymphona Society, shares: “We are so excited to be working with The Commuters. ‘You’ll Stay Right Here’ is a beautiful song and tribute to a friend fighting for life. Telling the story of cancer through the unbreakable bond of pets is a wonderful way to show compassion, friendship and unconditional love and support – all of which is needed when you are diagnosed with cancer. LLS is lucky to be a part of such a wonderful moment.” The Commuters will be donating all proceeds from the sales of the single on iTunes to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.

The sweet piano driven ballad is only further complimented by the tear jerker video. It is a beautiful song that shows passion and perseverance. This band has a personal appeal with their sweet melodies and musical charisma.
