Today’s song is “Video Game Soundtrack” by Larmheim. Larmheim also known as Henri de Saussure is a Swiss techno genius. The Geneva born artist has been making music from an early age. He started playing drums at 6. Between ages 17 and 21 he studied Tabla and music from North India with Paul Grant in Geneva. Larmheim them went on to study jazz at EJMA school in Lausanne for two years. He left his hometown for the capital city, Bern, where he started a Bachelor’s Degree in Music & Media Arts. It was there that he discovered music composition involving computer music, programming, generative composition, live-electronics, classical and contemporary music.
Larmheim is a musical innovator. His take on electronica is an exciting and experimental ride of fun. If you like video games you are sure to love this techno trip. His ecletic take on sonic music incorporates a barrage of awesome sounds involving synths, software, hardware, and drum machines. This track is off his album Cent Soleils out now.
