Song of the Day: “Love You To The Moon” by Ohlayindigo

Today’s song is “Love You To The Moon” by Ohlayindigo. Hailing from San Francisco by way of Oslo, Norway, Ohlayindigo is comprised of singer and songwriter Hanna Ponth, and drummer Zak Shrapnell. The duo have been releasing music leading up to their debut EP out this summer.

This is the latest single from the Scandinavian duo. It is part indie rock part electro dub with a sick beat that will get your singing along. Ohlayindigo’s lovable pop melodies pair perfectly with the sweet vocals of Ponth. You’ll be loving this song to the moon and back.

Hanna Ponth of Ohlayindigo was selected to partake in a songwriting session with Sir Paul McCartney, based on her songwriting credentials and merit obtained while studying at his Liverpool-based college (Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts). During the session, she sang with him and he helped her work on the first single, “Love You To The Moon”, which he was very impressed by.
