I was not sure what to expect from Katy Perry at this year’s halftime show. I would not say I am a fan of her, but the music is so hypnotic you cannot help finding yourself humming along.
I was surprised by how conservative her costumes were. However, after the Janet Jackson wardrobe malfunction in 2004, the NFL probably does not want to offend anyone watching. Even her thigh slit dress during “Fireworks” was tastefully done.
The highlight of the show the Spongebob Square Pants Like set with dancing palm trees and sharks.
It was a cool to see the surprise performance by Missy Elliott who definitely showed up Perry, but in a good way.
Overall, it wasn’t half bad.
