Song of the Day: “Waves” by Sleeper Agent

Today’s song is “Waves” by Sleeper Agent. ESBMusic AOTM, Sleeper Agent recently put out a new single that we can’t stop listening to. “Waves,” the brand new track from Sleeper Agent’s highly-anticipated forthcoming second album, is available to stream and download for free today at the band’s website. “‘Waves’ is ultimately about a private apocalypse. It’s about closing chapters of the past and watching all you knew crumble before you,” the band’s Tony Smith told Rolling Stone. The earnest subject matter is juxtaposed against playful guitar riffs and reverb-laden shout along choruses. Even in the depths of sorrow, the band radiates a warm, carefree sound.
