Walking Shapes is not your typical indie experimental-rock band from New York, the quintet fronted by Nathaniel Hoho presents a rock that successfully pushes the boundaries between electro, classic rock, and chamber rock. This year during CMJ the band played a total of five showcases, sharing with the crowds of radio DJs, industry insiders and music enthusiasts their booming sounds. In their performance, Walking Shapes make the smoothest of transitions from tracks that have the potential of becoming rock anthems to slower pop-infused songs that are still jam packed with power.
