Today’s song is “True Romance” by Citizens! This song is the first single off the band’s debut album Here We Are, produced by Franz Ferdinand’s Alex Kapranos. The album will be released in the States on October 9th via via Kitsuné / Cooperative Music. In support of the album the band will be taking to the road (see dates below) which will kick off on October 11th in Los Angeles. This will be their first-ever American tour as part of the OOHLALA! Tour with Tomorrow’s World (Jean-Benoit Dunckel from Air and Lou Hayter), Housse De Racket and Lescop. Made up of Tom Burke (vocals), Thom Rhoades (guitar), Martyn Richmond (bass), Lawrence Diamond (keyboards / guitar), and Mike Evans (drums) this London Five Piece has a lovely popalicious, dance vibe that featuring fun jangly keys and bass lines.
