Today’s song is “Heartbreaker” by Patrick Droney. After being named the ‘Best Young Blues Player’ in the nation at the age of thirteen by the Robert Johnson Blues Foundation, Droney has gone on to share the stage with legends such as the late James Brown, BB King and more recently, Breaking Benjamin and Seether. Patrick had his label debut with 2008’s The Other Side (Reform Records), which features co-writes with Ben Burnley (Breaking Benjamin) and Chris Henderson (Three Doors Down). After receiving critical acclaim and touring in support the record, Droney moved to New York City to continue working on new music.
The singer/songwriter/guitarist has been compared to John Mayer, Kings of Leon, and The Script. This is the first single off his upcoming self-titled EP which will be released on March 27th.
