Today’s song is “Discover” by Lee Bannon. Lee Bannon is an experimental Hip-Hop producer based out of Sacramento California. Bannon has produced music for artists such as Talib Kweli, Wu-tang’s Inspectah deak, and Zion I. Around the age of 13, Bannon both MCed and created beats, first on the Korg Electribe then progressed into Software. Being an MC was no longer a goal when the beats of Block Head’s Uncle Tonny’s Coloring Book won him over. As he honed his skills, he quickly generated an eclectic collection of music. With influences ranging from Madlib and MF doom, all the way to Phil Spector and Brian Wilson. This song is off his latest album Gnarlon Bando’s Midnight Noir, which he is offering for free!
