Today’s song is “I’m His Girl” by Friends. Yesterday, Brooklyn-based Friends took off for a sixteen-date U.S. and Canadian tour alongside Ganglians (see dates below). This is the second single on Lucky Number, following the sold out “Friend Crush” 7″. Friend’s has a sound that is hot, sexy, and cool. The velvety and sweet bass vibes and whispery vocals on this song are positively addictive. Can’t wait to hear more from them when they release their debut LP in 2012. The band will be playing at Mercury Lounge this Saturday, November 19th in NYC so if you’re looking for something to do, go see them live (info here)!
