Detroit duo Dale Earnhardt Jr. Jr. will be on tour this fall in support of their acclaimed debut LP, It’s A Corporate World, which made one of Filter’s “Top 20 Records of 2011 (So Far..)” and the NPR Listeners Poll as “Best Of The Year.” The band will also be playing this year’s Austin City Limits and Philadelphia’s Popped! Festival.
Dale Earnhardt Jr. Jr. are on their second headlining tour of 2011. They were deemed one of Stereogum’s “Best New Bands of 2010,” The Guardian featured them as their “Band of the Day,” and they’re one of Zink’s “4 Artists to Watch in 2011.” Watch the band’s KCRW Morning Becomes Eclectic performance via NPR and their live cover of Steve Winwood’s “Higher Love” at My Old Kentucky Blog to see what’s in store for the upcoming tour.
