Today’s song is “Hunt Hunt Hunt” There For Tomorrow. This is the first single off the band’s upcoming sophomore album The Verge. The band will release their sophomore album on June 28th. The Verge, produced by Michael Elvis Baskette (Incubus, Chevelle, Alter Bridge) symbolizes something much larger for the band than a new record. “The Verge” will describe the passion and intensity the band felt while recording their newest project and how it came together so honestly and organically. “Hunt was one of the songs that was really spurred off solely from what was happening melodically with my vocal. There was heavy attention paid to what was going on lyrically, so the musical make-up really reflects what I’m saying every step of the way. We’ve never really expressed this type of blunt frustration, but the slight aggression in every part of this song came so naturally. There’s a real sense of dissatisfaction in the song with how things are going on today within the world of music. Some may take the meaning and pertain it to social issues, some politics, but the interpretation is open for anyone to use as a tool in fighting back against opposing forces. It is a call out against all things illegitimate and superficial,” says front man Maika Maile.
There For Tomorrow will also be playing all dates on this year’s Vans Warped Tour headlining the Ernie Ball Stage as well as 8 headlining shows in early June with Conditions, Oceana, and Life On Repeat. The single and is available now on iTunes and fans can pre-order the here!
