Jim Greer ‘Ginger Vision’ Album Stream


Producer/Songwriter/Musician, Jim Greer, released his new album, Ginger Vision, on, March 14, 2011 via Rondo Brothers, War Chant Records. Greer is a legendary resident of the Bay Area whom has worked with the likes of Foster The People, Yoko Ono, Glassjaw, Head Automatica, etc.

Jim Greer works as part of the producer/artist team at Rondo Brothers and has contributed to a number of notable projects, such as the lead writer of Galactic’s “Heart of Steel”, sung by Irma Thomas and listed by NY Times’ Jon Pareles as one of the “Top Ten Songs of 2010”. He has also contributed and performed with Handsome Boy Modeling School, collaborated at length with Glassjaw frontman Daryl Palumbo and toured with his Warner Brothers band, Head Automatica. Greer has worked in the studio with various top producers such as; Howard Benson, Prince Paul, Dan the Automator, Bill Bottrell, Jack Douglas, etc., and has performed or written on approximately 70 records to date. Other notable projects as a performer, writer, re-mixer or producer include: Yoko Ono, Tipsy, Dr. Octagon, Cyndi Harvell, Foster The People, Samantha Stollenwerck, Stanton Moore, The Houseman, MC Lars, Eric Lindell, Loquat, Vinyl, New York Dolls, and many more.

Ginger Vision deals largely with the painful life circumstance of Greer’s 20-month old son, Teddy, being diagnosed with a rare pediatric cancer, called neuroblastoma, last year. Ginger Vision will take you through the experience Jim and his family has been enduring in 2010 till today.
