Today’s song is “Tricks” by Dylan and the Wave. Dylan Fox And The Wave consists of brothers Dylan Fox (vocals, guitar) and Sean Fox (drums).They started playing together a couple years ago in The Bay Area with other bands that never panned out. This song is off their second EP, Tunnel Vision which was released April 26th. The EP was recorded in the mission district of San Francisco at Different Fur Studios w/ owner Patrick Brown (who has worked with the likes The Morning benders and Toro Y Moi) engineering it. They tracked, mixed, and mastered it in 48 hours. Dylan Fox and the Wave are a band that likes to work fast and not over think things. The distorted vocals and guitars give it a gritty and raw excitement; it’s pure garage infused, punk rock.
